CULTURE
Disciple people, deliver hope, champion the city.
OUR VALUES
01. MISSION-DRIVEN GOSPEL
–
We are driven to be on mission in all programs to create disciples of Christ and everything we do must be connected to this goal.
02. CONNECTED GOSPEL
–
We believe and proclaim all of the connected Gospel, which is the story of creation, the fall, redemption, and new creation.
03. local & global
–
We celebrate and strive for both local & global impact in our world for Christ.
04. KINGDOM IMAGINATION
–
We strive to maintain a unifying vision fueled by Christ’s parables, personal calling, and mission while we dream together.
05. PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
–
No one is disposable. We value people development. All parts of a person, body, mind, soul, and skills are to be discipled to follow in the way of Christ.
06. STORY & RHYTHM
–
Each personal story, personal journey, and testimony are always taken into account as we walk together. We value rhythms of God, our Church, and our city-mirrored calendar events.

–
The importance of the one; the generation, family, friend, place, vision, mission, love. The ONE way in CHRIST.
“WE WORK TO SEE ALL THE PEOPLE OF ST. PAUL AND BEYOND LIVING AS DISCIPLES OF CHRIST, FULLY KNOWN, FULL OF HOPE, ACTIVELY LOVING ONE ANOTHER LIVING A SPIRIT-LED LIFE. “
Eric Samuel Timm | Lead Shepherd
HISTORY
Summit Church is a part of the Fellowship of the Assemblies of God Churches. The Assemblies of God (AG) was founded in 1914 to join together as a missions, holiness, and pentecostal movement. It is composed of 70 million members and believes 16 key tenants of faith. For more information on the AG please click here.
In 1927 Dr. Charles Price held meetings in people’s homes in the city of St. Paul on Friday nights. In 1932 St. Paul Gospel Temple was opened and this later became what we call Summit Church. In 1952 e St. Paul Gospel Temple burned down. At this time the church moved locations and changed it’s name. In 1965, 1983, and 1986 there were building changes made to improve the location for ministry use. The latest renovations happened in 2016, this project included sanctuary, lobby, and upstairs remodeling.
In 2022 the leadership/pastoral team began to make improvements, renovating the kids and youth areas.
